Tour Plan
The Char Dham Yatra Package from Jaipur is a meticulously crafted 11-day pilgrimage designed specifically for devotees from Rajasthan who wish to undertake the sacred Himalayan journey in a well-organized, spiritually fulfilling, and physically comfortable manner. This journey connects Jaipur pilgrims to the revered shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, nestled deep within the divine landscapes of Uttarakhand. Unlike generic Chardham tours, this package is structured keeping in mind Jaipur's travel connectivity, acclimatization needs, and long-distance planning, ensuring a smooth transition from the plains of Rajasthan to the high-altitude spiritual corridors of the Himalayas. Managed by Travelophila's Uttarakhand-based team, the yatra focuses on safety, devotion, and seamless coordination at every stage.
The Chardham Yatra is more than just a tour; it is a deeply revered pilgrimage that washes away sins and leads to Moksha (liberation). Each temple holds immense mythological significance. Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna River, Gangotri is the origin of the Ganga, Kedarnath is a Jyotirlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Starting this journey from Jaipur—a city of royal heritage—adds a unique charm, blending the warmth of the desert with the cold, majestic peaks of the Himalayas. This package includes deluxe accommodations, most meals, and comfortable road transport from Delhi onward, ensuring you can focus entirely on your spiritual growth.

-
Jaipur to Delhi: You are responsible for booking your travel from Jaipur to Delhi. The most practical options are:
-
Overnight Train: Take a train like the Ajmer Shatabdi or any overnight express that reaches Delhi early morning. This saves a night's hotel cost and aligns perfectly with the pickup schedule.
-
Vande Bharat Express: A fast and comfortable day option.
-
Flight: A quick 50-minute flight to Delhi.
-
-
Delhi to Haridwar: Upon your arrival at Delhi (airport or railway station), the Travelophila team will meet you. From there, you will begin the road journey to Haridwar (approx. 210 km / 5-6 hours). This is where the package officially starts.
-
Return: On Day 11, you will be dropped back in Delhi, from where you will take your pre-booked flight or train back to Jaipur.
The route is carefully chosen to allow for gradual acclimatization and manageable driving distances.
-
Jaipur to Delhi (Self-Arranged): Pilgrims travel to the transit hub.
-
Delhi to Haridwar (Day 1): A smooth, flat highway journey to the gateway of the yatra.
-
Haridwar to Barkot (Day 2): The ascent begins. The route goes via Mussoorie and Kempty Falls, slowly gaining altitude. Barkot (approx. 1,500m) is chosen as the first Himalayan halt as it is the base for Yamunotri.
-
Barkot to Yamunotri & Back (Day 3): A short drive to Jankichatti (or Phool Chatti), followed by the 5-6 km trek to the temple.
-
Barkot to Uttarkashi (Day 4): A scenic drive along the Yamuna and later the Bhagirathi rivers. Uttarkashi (approx. 1,150m) is the base for Gangotri.
