Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. BestPackage strives to keep our cancellation and refund rules as transparent and fair as possible. Please read the following terms regarding package cancellations carefully.

1. Standard Cancellation Charges

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us immediately in writing (via email). Cancellation charges are calculated based on the date we receive your written notification:

• 30+ days before departure: 20% of total package cost is retained.
• 15 to 29 days before departure: 40% of total package cost is retained.
• 7 to 14 days before departure: 70% of total package cost is retained.
• Less than 7 days before departure / No-show: 100% of the package cost (No refund).

2. Peak Season & Special Yatras

During peak seasons (such as Chardham Yatra opening months, May/June, and October), hotel and transport bookings are strictly non-refundable. For these specific packages, cancellations made at any time will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Your booking executive will clearly mention if your package falls under this category before you pay the deposit.

3. Unforeseen Cancellations (Weather & Natural Calamities)

In the Himalayas, natural calamities like landslides, heavy snowfall, or road blocks can occur. If a tour is cancelled by authorities or BestPackage prior to departure due to such acts of God, we will attempt to provide an alternative date or destination. If you cannot accept the alternative, we will refund the amount after deducting actual incurred expenses (like non-refundable hotel advances). If a trip is interrupted mid-way, no refunds will be provided for the unutilized portion.

4. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment (bank transfer, UPI, or card) within 7 to 10 business days.
